Contraindications

Your safety is always the top priority. While permanent makeup and scalp micropigmentation are suitable for most people, there are certain medical conditions and circumstances that may prevent treatment or require medical clearance before proceeding.
Treatment may not be recommended if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have an active skin condition, infection, rash or irritation in the treatment area
• Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment
• Have uncontrolled diabetes
• Have a bleeding disorder or are taking blood-thinning medication
• Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Have an active herpes outbreak or contagious illness
• Have recently received Botox, fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments or other cosmetic procedures in the treatment area
• Have recently undergone a hair transplant (for SMP clients)
• Have a medical condition that may affect healing or skin regeneration

Please note that certain medical conditions may require written approval from your doctor before treatment can be carried out.

If you are unsure whether permanent makeup or scalp micropigmentation is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking. During your consultation, we will discuss your medical history, answer any questions and ensure the treatment is both safe and appropriate for your individual circumstances.
